Flocking Together to Impact Uganda

Wedding Benefits Three Well Projects

Meet James and Michelle Burgess...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LOVEGROWS!

Wow! LoveGrows is 3 years old!

Missing Uganda

My trip to Uganda cannot be put into words, however, I will try my best. Before I begin though I must give so much thanks to the LoveGrows group for everything. You are all such wonderful servants to God and what you have done for this school is amazing. I love you all and I am a better person because of meeting you all. Now as far as my other team members---I love you all so much. You all are very special to me and I consider each one of you as family.

Church in Africa

This blog was written on Sunday, 10 March 2013. It is late posting due to the Internet/power issues we had that day, so please forgive the misplaced chronology.

African Dental Care

We have extracted 20 teeth and filled 35! Thank you for your prayers!! God has been gracious in allowing us to treat these precious children, in spite of 5 days of no power, working with a team that has no prior dental experience and working on children whose only prior dental experiences have been terrifying.

Thankful. Blessed. Overwhelmed.

Hello!! Sorry I've been so bad at blogging!! Our power has been so in and out that it has been hard, and honestly if I'm caught between the option to blog or hang out with the kids... The kids win out ;) I know you're shocked. Haha. I don't even really know what to say here- mostly I just wanted to let you all know I'm ok and to once again thank you all for the prayers and support. These have been 2 beyond amazing weeks and I am so not ready for them to end.

Time is flying by....

Dear friends and family,
I apologize for the delay in my blog. We have had a lot of rain storms and have not had power since Saturday. We have limited use of a generator which we are using to continue our dental clinic. Hopefully we will have power again by tomorrow. Prayers rising up!

Sunday was a beautiful day. We attended church on Sunday at the orphanage and it was awesome. Words and even pictures cannot describe.

So much to say

I haven't written in a while because we have not had power since they have been having some storms, praise! But so much has happened since I last wrote. We have been finishing the clinics and the eye clinics and seeing the other school Morning Star and so much more! Also my birthday was the absolute best one that I have EVER had. We went to church and it was one of the best services. The choir is just amazing and their worship is so powerful and real.

I am so thankful for...

After spending time at the Royal School you realize that some things you just don't need and many things that you take for granted you become so much more thankful for!!!

Water: A couple days ago we took a walk down to the new well that LoveGrows is in the process of putting into action so that the water is easier to get for these children.
