Presently, we are only serving orphans abroad for several reasons. First, we have made relationships with organizations overseas and don't currently have the resources available to work domestically. Second, while their situations are certainly heartbreaking, we have found that orphans in the United States have access to food, clean water, shelter and education. The case is the same in most first-world countries. In the third-world, however, this is not the situation. Without aid from organizations like LoveGrows, orphans in these countries would live without these necessities and in some cases not survive at all.
