In late 2009, 12 strangers assembled to bring a medical mission to the Royal School and Orphanage in Mityana, Uganda. We had no idea how our lives would be altered forever. During our 14 days abroad, we befriended 700 orphaned victims of an AIDs-ravaged, war-torn country. Our experience made it impossible to return home and do nothing to help, so LoveGrows was born on May 22, 2010.
Headed by the
Board of Directors, LoveGrows is now a conglomeration of churches, corporations, families and individuals who share a common vision of helping orphans in need. Through this network of support, we find the relational, intellectual and financial resources necessary to make a positive, sustainable impact on those we serve.
Since our founding, the Lord has brought us exactly the right people at exactly the right time. With His blessing, we'll be able to make a lasting impact on the lives of otherwise forgotten children. We'll do everything we can to support them, empower them, and share the good news of their true Father in Heaven.
